GlobeSt. Selects Lonnie Ledbetter, Kim Voss for 2024 Women of Influence Awards

(July 17, 2024) Austin, Texas—GlobeSt. has awarded two American Campus Communities executive leaders with its 2024 Women of Influence Awards. Lonnie Ledbetter, chief purpose and inclusion officer, and Kim Voss, chief financial officer, have been recognized as Diversity Champion and Chief Financial Officer, respectively.

“This year’s honorees have closed deals in the hundreds of millions of dollars, launched new ventures, and expanded their business horizons. Lonnie Ledbetter

As the head of HR and DEI, Lonnie has created a workplace culture rooted in inclusion and compassion for more than two decades, setting the standard for DEI within the student housing sector. She regularly leads workshops on effective communication, manages initiatives for team members to participate in dialogues on diversity issues, and integrates DEI into existing programs for maximum impact. She oversees ACC’s DEI task force to ensure comprehensive representation is achieved throughout all levels of the organization and the company’s ESG program that includes to evaluating and benchmarking DEI objectives and outcomes.
 

Kim Voss

As CFO, Kim oversees the company’s FP&A, accounting, treasury, debt and capital markets, tax, financial systems, and internal audit functions. During her tenure at ACC, Kim has led ACC through its 2004 $300 million Initital Public Offering, 18 years of exponential growth as a publicly traded company, and its 2022 take private transaction at a valuation of $13 billion. Kim has consistently demonstrated a passion for supporting student success and fostering growth opportunities for her team members, allowing her to emerge as a top exectuve leader within the student housing industry. As a female CFO in a male-dominated industry and position, Kim is a shining example for toher women in her field.

Since 1983, this award has recognized a growing number of commercial real estate female professionals for their remarkable achievements. The honorees have personally impacted the market and significantly driven the industry to new heights via their outstanding successes.
