Felicia Chachere of American Campus Communities Featured in Student Housing Business
Our regional SVP weighs in on trends and best practices for third-party management on campus
Student Housing Business magazine recently reported on today’s issues and trends in on-campus management. Naturally, they asked ACC’s Felicia Chachere for her perspective based on her deep industry experience. She cited inclusivity, accessibility, sustainability, privacy and affordability as top attributes students are looking for in on-campus communities.
Felicia started her career with ACC in 2000 as the assistant general manager at University Village serving her alma mater of Savannah State University. She eventually went on to earn a Ph.D. in management from Walden University. She’s held a wide variety of leadership positions at ACC and as regional senior vice president, she currently guides the success of our third-party management division, which includes on-campus American Campus Equity-financed properties.
